Are there any houses on the Himalayas mountain?

There are some permanent human settlements and houses on the lower slopes of the Himalayas, up to approximately 5,000 meters (16,400 feet) above sea level. However, the higher, more extreme regions of the Himalayas are not suitable for permanent human habitation due to factors such as high altitude, extreme weather conditions, and lack of oxygen.

Mountain climbers sometimes stay overnight in simple structures called mountain huts along their climbing routes but these huts don't offer permanent residencies rather offer temporary shelters on higher altitude for trekkers
