WHERE IS China and what countries surround it?

China is located in East Asia. It is the world's most populous country, with over 1.4 billion people, and the fourth largest country by land area, covering approximately 9.6 million square kilometers.

China is bordered by 14 countries:

* To the north: Russia and Mongolia

* To the west: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan ,Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, and Bhutan

* To the south: Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar and North Korea

Additionally, China shares its maritime borders with many countries in the South Cina Sea, East China Sea, and Yellow Sea.
