What is the region of Tokyo?

Tokyo, the capital of Japan, is located in the Kantō region, the biggest regional division on the central eastern side of Honshu, Japan's largest island. Tokyo is situated on the Kanto Plains in the south-eastern part of the country, at the head of Tokyo Bay, an inlet of the Pacific Ocean.
