The Best Hotels in Penang, Malaysia

Penang, Malaysia, has it all: long stretches of sandy beaches, beautiful resorts, rich history, diverse culture, and delicious food. The weather beckons as well: it is generally warm to hot and sunny, except for one brief, cooling shower each day. The state of Penang consists of the 110-square-mile Penang Island connected by a bridge to the mainland province of Seberang Perai. Temples and historic sites abound in the area, and the beautiful Kek Lok Si Temple at Air Itam is the largest Buddhist temple in Southeast Asia.

Hotel facilities include a fully equipped fitness center, an outdoor swimming pool, squash and tennis courts, and a business center.

This is a very big hotel, with 655 guestrooms and suites, each with a private balcony. The Equator Club, on the 8th, 9th and 10th floors of the Executive Wing, is designed for business travelers.
