Penang Hill, also known as Bukit Bendera, is located near the city of Georgetown, Malaysia. With its highest peak at 2,750 feet, it is a tourist destination known for its panoramic views of the area. Accessible by a funicular train (first used in 1923), the trip takes approximately 30 minutes. As of September 2010, the system has been renovated and includes a new nonstop journey to the summit.
