Equatorial Cameron Highlands is a three-star, 310-room Tudor-style resort hotel that is located in the mountains on 13 acres of land. The hotel offers room service, an indoor pool, a karaoke lounge, tennis and squash courts and a gym. It also offers several on-site dining options, including a lobby café, the Coffee Shop, the Golden Phoenix, the Cricket Bistro and the Cricket Lounge. If you want to get out and explore, there is plenty to see. Nearby points of interest include the Boh Tea Plantation, a butterfly and honeybee farm, the Robinson waterfall and several farms that grow strawberries, vegetables and wild orchids. The hotel also offers several excursions that range from tours of the countryside to an adventure in the rain forest. As of August, 2010, room rates for November started at around $80 a night for the Superior King room and went up to $125 per night for the one-bedroom apartment.

The Hyatt Regency is a four-star, 330-room hotel located on the beaches of the South China Sea. The hotel features three restaurants, two pools, three tennis courts, an 18-hole golf course and even a spa. If the these amenities are not enough for you, there's plenty to do nearby as well: You can visit the Teluk Chempedak beach, Lake Chini or take a tour of the city of Kuantan.
