Where is shemakha caucasia located?

Shemakha (also known as Shemakha Caucasia) is located in the Caucasus region, in the Republic of Azerbaijan. It is situated approximately 120 kilometers (75 miles) northwest of Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan. Shemakha is located in the foothills of the Greater Caucasus mountain range, on the slopes of Mount Pirkuli, at an altitude of about 800 meters (2,600 feet) above sea level. The city is surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and is known for its mild climate and rich history.
