What is the current head of kazakhstan?
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is the current head of Kazakhstan. He assumed the office of President on 20 March 2019, following the resignation of Nursultan Nazarbayev. Tokayev was previously the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan from 1999 to 2002, and again from 2003 to 2016. He also served as the Speaker of the Mazhilis, the lower house of the Kazakh Parliament, from 2016 to 2019.
