It is generally not possible to adopt a child from China while also fostering a child in the United States. This is because the Chinese government has strict regulations regarding adoption, and requires prospective adoptive parents to be fully committed to the adoption process. The U.S. Department of State also recommends against adopting from China while fostering a child, as it can be challenging to manage both situations simultaneously.
