In Australia, each federal electoral district for the House of Representatives is officially termed a division. There are currently 151 divisions, each electing one Member of Parliament (MP). The term "division" is used instead of "constituency" or "riding" (common in other Westminster systems). Divisions are redistributed periodically by the Australian Electoral Commission to maintain roughly equal enrollment.
