In fact, according to Meat and Livestock Australia, the annual Beef Production (2021-22) in Australia was approximately 2.5 million tonnes, while the annual Kangaroo Meat Production (2020-21) was approximately 25,000 tonnes. This means that cattle meat production in Australia is about 100 times greater than kangaroo meat production.
