What will be the time in Perth when Melbourne cup main race starts?

To determine the time in Perth when the Melbourne Cup main race starts, you need to take into account the time difference between Perth and Melbourne. Here's how you can calculate it:

1. Time in Melbourne: The Melbourne Cup main race is usually held at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne, Victoria. The race typically starts at 3:00 PM Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT).

2. Time Difference: Perth is located in Western Australia (WA), and during daylight saving time (DST), WA observes Australian Western Standard Time (AWST), which is 2 hours behind AEDT.

3. Calculation: To find the time in Perth when the Melbourne Cup main race starts, subtract 2 hours from the Melbourne time.

3:00 PM AEDT - 2 hours = 1:00 PM AWST

Therefore, when the Melbourne Cup main race starts at 3:00 PM in Melbourne, the time in Perth will be 1:00 PM AWST
