First Australian involvement in united nations peacekeeping Indonesia?

Australia's first involvement in United Nations peacekeeping was not in Indonesia, but rather in West New Guinea (now Papua New Guinea) in 1962, as part of the United Nations Temporary Executive Authority (UNTEA) mission. Indonesia's involvement in UN peacekeeping began with its participation in the United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF I) in the Gaza Strip in 1957.
