What are the qualifications for a visa needed to look jobs in Australia?

To be eligible for a subclass 482 temporary skill shortage visa, you must:

- have a valid passport

- be of good character

- meet the health and character requirements

- be nominated by an Australian employer for an occupation that is on the current skilled occupation list

- have relevant work experience in the nominated occupation

- meet the minimum salary for the nominated occupation

- have functional English

For certain occupations, you may also need to have a relevant qualification or license.
