Is the Great Australian Desert Sandy Desert?

The Great Australian Desert is not the same as the Sandy Desert. The Sandy Desert is located in the northern part of Western Australia, while the Great Australian Desert is located in the central and western part of Australia. While both deserts have sandy areas, they are distinct deserts with different characteristics and locations.
