Glasgow is located on the River Clyde in west-central Scotland. It is the largest city in Scotland and the third largest in the United Kingdom. Glasgow lies in the Lowlands region of Scotland, about 32 miles (51 kilometers) west-southwest of Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland.
