No Trade Stations in Ontario—They're in the Territories

Ontario has no "trade stations." The term historically refers to Hudson's Bay Company / North West Company fur trade posts in the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon (e.g., Fort Good Hope, Fort Simpson, Chesterfield Inlet).

Ontario's historic fur posts (Fort William, Thunder Bay; Fort Albany, James Bay) are now museums or communities. Modern "trade" in Ontario means:

  • Ports: Hamilton, Thunder Bay, Windsor (Great Lakes/St. Lawrence)
  • Border crossings: Windsor-Detroit, Sarnia-Port Huron, Fort Erie-Buffalo, Niagara Falls
  • Intermodal terminals: Toronto (CN/CP), Brampton, Vaughan

If you mean Ontario Ministry of Labour "Trade Equivalency" assessment centers, they're in Toronto, Ottawa, London, Sudbury, Thunder Bay.
