What Are National Colors?

National colors are the official hues representing a country, prominently displayed on its flag, coat of arms, emblems, and other state symbols. They are chosen for historical, cultural, or geographical significance and serve to evoke patriotism, unity, and national identity. Examples include the red, white, and blue of the United States, France, and the United Kingdom; the green and gold of Australia; and the black, red, and gold of Germany. These colors become instantly recognizable symbols of their nations both domestically and internationally.
