Where are Canadas territories located?

The Yukon, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut are the three territories of Canada. These northern territories are located in the northernmost part of North America, and as a result, they experience long, frigid winters and brief, cool summers. The majority of the population of the territories is concentrated in the southern regions, where the majority of the towns are situated.

* The Yukon is located in the far northwest corner of Canada, between Alaska and British Columbia. It is the smallest territory by both land area and population, with just over 35,000 people calling it home. The capital city of the Yukon is Whitehorse.

* The Northwest Territories is the largest territory by land area, covering over 1.3 million square kilometers. It is located in the central northern part of Canada, between the Yukon and Nunavut. The capital city of the Northwest Territories is Yellowknife.

* Nunavut is the largest territory by land area, covering over 2 million square kilometers. It is located in the easternmost part of Canada, between the Northwest Territories and Greenland. The capital city of Nunavut is Iqaluit.
