How do mudhens migrate to Saskatchewan?

Mudhens (Coots) do not migrate to Saskatchewan. These species migrate south for the winter and typically stay south of Canada. Their primary migration routes take them from the northern United States into Mexico and Central America for the winter to escape harsh winter conditions and limited food availability in the north.
