    • This resort on Peninsula Lake offers cabins, cottages, rooms, and suites, most of which have wood burning fireplaces. Some have full kitchens, even as homemade meals are available in the resort. Winter attractions include snowmobile trails, downhill and cross-country skiing, and snow tubing. Outdoor facilities include a lighted skating rink, and cross country ski trails when there is ice on the lake. Local marinas rent out snowmobiles. Cross country skiers go to the Arrowhead or Algonquin provincial parks, while the local downhill skiing and snowboarding facility is Hidden Valley Highlands, with its three chairlifts and 11 slopes, and night skiing on Thursdays to Saturdays.
