Where is Tigris river located?

Tigris river is located in Western Asia. It is one of the two major rivers that define the region of Mesopotamia. The Tigris river originates from multiple sources in the mountains of Southeastern Turkey. The river flows through southeastern Turkey, Syria and Iraq before joining the Euphrates river at Al Qurnah in southern Iraq, close to the Persian Gulf.
