What is the Island of Novia Scotia?

Nova Scotia is not an island, it is a peninsular of mainland Canada, located in the southeastern portion of the country. It is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the south and east, the Gulf of St. Lawrence to the north, and the Bay of Fundy to the west. Nova Scotia is connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus at Chignecto Bay, which is spanned by the Confederation Bridge.
