Nova Scotia Is a Peninsula, Not an Island

Nova Scotia is a peninsula connected to mainland Canada by the Isthmus of Chignecto (spanned by the Confederation Bridge). It borders the Atlantic Ocean (south/east), Gulf of St. Lawrence (north), and Bay of Fundy (west). It is not an island.
