How many rainforests are there in Indonesia?

There are more than five rainforests in Indonesia:

- In Sumatra - Leuser ecosystem

- Kalimantan - Kayan Mentarang National Park ecosystem

- South Kalimantan - Meratus ecosystem

- Southwest Papua - Lorentz forest and Mamberamo forest, including Cyclops Mountains - Foja Mountain ecosystem with its peat swamp ecosystem as part of Mamberamo ecosystem

- Sulawesi - Lore Lindu National Park with Lake Poso Ecosystem as its part; and Tangkoko Batuangus DuaSudara Reserve Nature ecosystem
