There are no expatriates in The Bahamas because it is not possible to permanently change citizenship in The Bahamas unless the individual was either born outside of The Bahamas and has a Bahamian parent, has married a Bahamian citizen with permission, or resides for at least ten or more years while married/cohabiting with Bahamian citizens, and receives special permission
