Cuba is an island nation located in the Caribbean Sea that features pristine beaches, historic buildings and a thriving music scene. The area also features resort hotels that can accommodate people with disabilities, including wheelchair accessible rooms. As of 2010, there are travel restrictions for Americans traveling to Cuba. Generally, only government officials, journalists, researchers, business professionals, athletic teams and those traveling to Cuba to visit family for humanitarian purposes are allowed into Cuba.
