Travelers who want to take a cruise that departs from New Jersey will find plenty of options available. Cruises leave from Cape Liberty Port in Bayonne, New Jersey, a port owned by Royal Caribbean International that is seven miles from Manhattan.     New England and Canada

    • Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas is also used for New England and Canada cruises. The nine-night cruise visits Portland and Bar Harbor, Maine; St. John, New Brunswick; Halifax, Nova Scotia; and Boston. Prices range from $639 per person for an interior cabin to $1,612 per person for a suite. The Celebrity Cruise liner Summit is used for a seven-night cruise visiting Portland, Bar Harbor and Halifax. Celebrity's prices are significantly higher, ranging from $1,099 per person for an interior cabin to $6,999 per person for a suite.

    Bermuda

    • Celebrity's Summit is also used for six- and seven-night cruises to Bermuda. Prices range from $749 per person for an interior cabin to $4,549 per person for a suite. The cruises dock at King's Wharf on Ireland Island, on the westernmost tip of Bermuda.
