Beaches Boscobel is one of four family resorts in the Carribean that carry the brand name Beaches Resorts. The Ocho Rios location has 224 rooms, a spacious pool and water sports that include snorkeling and scuba diving. Also available are tennis, volleyball and complimentary golf at nearby Sandals Golf & Country Club. While most other resorts charge extra, Beaches includes its scuba diving program at no extra cost to its guests. Two times a day, guests can dive and explore dive sites in the area with the best equipment provided. Even those with little or no experience can learn to dive within a day, while certified divers can plunge right in from a boat. The Ocho Rios resort offers good access to Jamaica's best dive spots.

The 90-room, adults-only Club Ambiance is located in Runaway Bay on Jamaica’s beautiful North Coast. It is an hour from the Montego Bay airport and 25 minutes to Ocho Rios. All rooms are in two floors, and are brightly decorated amidst tropical gardens. Prices include accommodations, meals, drinks, entertainment, activities and taxes. Couples or singles 18 years and above are welcome. Activities include golf, horseback-riding and some water sports like boating, deep-sea fishing and diving. Kayaks and snorkeling equipment are lent out for free, but there is a cost to diving lessons provided by the Jamaqua Dive Center, which has a dive facility in this resort.

The 280-room Hedonism II is an adults-only beach resort in Negril which offers diving among its many other activities. Located at the tip of the beach waterfront are two private stretches of beach: one nude and one not. Only singles and couples 18 or older are allowed, and those not staying at the hotel must purchase passes at $50 for women and $100 for men (2010 prices). All rooms and suites have air-conditioning with tiled floors, mirrored ceilings, one king or two twin beds, TV and other amenities. Available are Caribbean, Italian, Japanese and Jamaican restaurants. Those qualified to dive must show a certificate from an internationally recognized dive school, while those not qualified can go through diving classes conducted regularly at the resort.
