Located on Barbados's west coast at St. James, Sandy Lane is a luxury resort that was included on ForbesTraveler.com's list of best luxury Caribbean resorts (2009). Opened in 1961, Sandy Lane has consistently attracted celebrities, royalty, and the rich. Offering 112 rooms and suites and a separate five-bedroom villa, even the least expensive rooms at Sandy Lane include amenities such as marble bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, and a private veranda.
