How do you cross the Panama Canal?

There are two main ways to cross the Panama canal:

- By ship: Ships traveling between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans can pass through the Panama Canal, which is a waterway that connects the two. The canal is 82 kilometers (51 miles) long and has a series of locks that raise and lower ships to different water levels.

- By land: The Panama Canal also has a land route, known as the Panama Canal Railway, which runs parallel to the canal. The railway is 77 kilometers (48 miles) long and offers both passenger and freight service.
