ICRC Presence: Countries and Exceptions

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) operates in 189 of 193 UN-recognized countries. The three without ICRC presence are:

• North Korea
• Monaco
• Micronesia

Work in these nations is coordinated through delegations based in regional capitals, partnering with local authorities and NGOs to aid conflict-affected populations.
