White Population in the U.S.: 2020 Census Figures

According to the 2020 U.S. Census, there were 204.3 million people identifying as White alone, representing 60.1% of the total population.

Demographers project a gradual decline in the White share due to lower birth rates, aging, and increasing diversity from immigration and multiracial identification.
