• Historically disinvested neighborhoods
• Areas of concentrated poverty
• Racially/ethnically concentrated areas of poverty (R/ECAPs) – HUD definition.
• Census tracts with specific income, housing, employment metrics.

The Bronx contains diverse communities—some facing systemic disinvestment, others thriving. For accurate data, consult the NYC Department of City Planning, Furman Center, or U.S. Census Bureau using defined indicators.
