Which Countries' Flags Make Up the Union Jack?

The Union Jack (Union Flag) combines the flags of three nations within the UK:

• England: St George's Cross – red upright cross on white field.
• Scotland: St Andrew's Saltire – white diagonal cross on blue field.
• Northern Ireland: St Patrick's Saltire – red diagonal cross on white field.
