Liechtenstein is a doubly landlocked microstate in the Alps, bordered by Switzerland (west/south) and Austria (east/north). It lies on the Rhine River, north of the Alps and south of the Black Forest. Dimensions: 160 km east–west, 20 km north–south; area 160 km² (62 sq mi).
