The Copperbelt is a region in south-central Africa that is rich in copper ore deposits. It is located in the border area of Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The main copper mining centers in the Copperbelt include Kitwe, Ndola, and Mufulira in Zambia, and Lubumbashi and Likasi in the DRC.
