Who are the allies?

The Allies refers to the countries that formed a coalition during World War II to oppose the Axis powers. The principal Allied powers were the United Kingdom, the United States, the Soviet Union, and China. Other countries that joined the Allies included France, Poland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, and many others.

The Allies were united by their common goal of defeating the Axis powers and restoring peace and democracy to the world. They fought together on various fronts, including Europe, North Africa, the Pacific, and Southeast Asia. The Allies ultimately achieved victory in 1945 with the defeat of Germany and Japan.

The Allied powers played a crucial role in shaping the post-war world. They established international organizations such as the United Nations to promote cooperation and prevent future conflicts. The Allies also helped to rebuild war-torn countries and provided economic aid to support their recovery.
