Cancun is a city on the northeast coast of Mexico, in the state of Quintana Roo. It is the municipal seat of the Benito Juárez municipality. Cancun is a popular tourist destination, known for its white-sand beaches, turquoise water, and extensive coral reef system. However, it is not a country or a state, and it does not have any cities within it.
