The Louisiana Superdome is the largest fixed dome structure in the world. It is located in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA and is the home of the National Football League's New Orleans Saints. The Superdome was completed in 1975 and has a capacity of over 73,000 people. It has hosted a number of major events, including the 1978 NBA All-Star Game, the 1980 Republican National Convention, and Super Bowl XXXI in 1997.
