- One of the largest copper mines in Arizona, and produces around 500,000 tons of copper annually.
5. Climax Mine (Colorado)
- Located in the Sawatch Range of the Rocky Mountains, near Leadville, Colorado.
- Known for its large molybdenum deposits, but also produces significant quantities of copper.
