Where is Samaria located?
The ancient region of Samaria is located in the central part of the West Bank, in the modern State of Palestine, between the Judea Mountains to the south and the Carmel ridge to the north. It encompasses the hilly countryside of the Northern West Bank, including the cities of Nablus (ancient Shechem), Jenin, and Qalqilya, as well as the fertile valleys and plains of the region. The region is rich in historical sites, including archaeological ruins, biblical landmarks, and natural beauty.
