Where are the islands of Malta located?

The islands of Malta are located in the Mediterranean Sea, south of Sicily and north of Libya, between Europe and Africa. The Maltese archipelago consists of three inhabited islands: Malta, Gozo, and Comino, and several smaller uninhabited islands. Malta is the largest island and is home to the capital city, Valletta. Gozo is the second-largest island and is known for its picturesque scenery and traditional villages, while Comino is the smallest and is known for its crystal clear waters and the Blue Lagoon.
