Spain and Portugal together occupy ~93% of the Iberian Peninsula (approx. 583,000 km²).

• Spain – ~85% of the peninsula
• Portugal – ~15% (western edge)
• Andorra – microstate (468 km²) in the Pyrenees between Spain and France
• Gibraltar – British Overseas Territory (6.8 km²) at southern tip

The peninsula is bounded by the Pyrenees (north), Atlantic Ocean (west & southwest), and Mediterranean Sea (east & southeast). The Strait of Gibraltar separates it from Africa (14 km).
