Bodies of Water Bordering Germany

Germany's coastline touches three major water bodies:

  • North Sea – to the northwest
  • Baltic Sea – to the northeast
  • English Channel – to the west (via the Strait of Dover, though Germany's direct North Sea coast is more prominent)

The North and Baltic Seas are the primary maritime boundaries.
