Who rules Norway?
Norway is a constitutional monarchy, with King Harald V as the head of state. However, the king's role is largely ceremonial, and the country is governed by a democratically elected parliament, the Storting. The Storting is responsible for passing laws, approving the budget, and overseeing the government. The Prime Minister of Norway, currently Jonas Gahr Støre, is the head of government and leads the executive branch of the government.
