Why norway is called land of midnight sun?

The term "Land of the Midnight sun" is most commonly used to refer to regions located at high latitudes, where the sun does not set completely below the horizon during certain periods of the year. While Norway does experience long days and short nights during the summer months, the term "land of the Midnight Sun" is not exclusively used to describe Norway. Other regions, including parts of Alaska, northern Canada, Iceland and Greenland, also share this phenomenon and could also be referred to as the "Land of the Midnight Sun" during specific times of the year.
