What continents share the same land mass?
Afro-Eurasia is the combined landmass of the continents of Africa and Eurasia, which are traditionally considered separate continents. The term was coined by the 20th-century American geographer Richard Joel Russell.[2] Sometimes considered a single continent and sometimes two, the landmass accounts for about 57 per cent of the total surface area of Earth and around 60 percent of the total population of Earth.[3] The majority of the supercontinent lies in the Northern Hemisphere, with some southern sections extending into the Southern Hemisphere.
