Is Russia in Europe or Asia?

Russia is a transcontinental country located in both Europe and Asia. The majority of its territory (approximately 75%) is located in Asia, while the remaining 25% is in Europe. The Ural Mountains are often considered the dividing line between the two continents, with the European part of Russia to the west and the Asian part to the east.
