What led to the rise of Empire that caused Europeans find another route Far East?

Rise of the Ottoman Empire:

- The capture of Constantinople by the Ottoman Turks in 1453 led to the disruption of traditional trade routes between Europe and Asia. The Ottomans imposed heavy taxes on European traders, making it difficult and expensive to access the East. They also restricted European access to the spices and other valuable goods from the East, leading to a shortage of these items in Europe.

- Expansion of Portuguese and Spanish Power:

- The rise of maritime powers like Portugal and Spain encouraged European exploration of new routes to the East. These countries gained control over much of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans during the 15th and 16th centuries. Spain had gained control of the Americas. This pushed many European nations to start competing to find an alternative route for the east to secure new spice markets, and source of wealth and power without conflict by the Turks
