Where in Norway can the northern lights be seen?
The Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis, may be visible in areas of Northern Norway that are above the Arctic Circle, such as Tromsø, Alta, Narvik, and Kirkenes. However, it's important to note that the Aurora Borealis is a natural phenomenon and its occurrence and visibility are not certain or fully predictable. Factors such as solar activity, weather conditions, cloud cover, and light pollution can impact the chances of seeing the Northern Lights. For the best chances of experiencing them, visiting during periods of maximum solar activity between November and March when the nights are longer and travelling to more remote areas further away from artificial light is typically advised.
